Highland Park has been distilling whisky in Kirkwall, Orkney since 1798 - the same place as it has always been at 58° 58’02.6 N 2° 57’18.3” W latitude, almost in the Arctic Circle. Surrounded by rough seas and often with hurricane-like storms from all directions, few trees survive the harsh weather conditions of the Orkney Islands. It is this geology that lies at the heart of Highland Park’s distinctive avours which in turn, complement the avours of Braunstein beer.

Each beer in this series is named after a well-known Orkney landmark.
